Let’s Make Impeachment Great Again!

With An Inept Imbecile in the Oval, Who Couldn’t See This Coming?

The 34-time convicted Felon presently occupying the Oval once bragged that he knew “debt better than anyone! No one knows debt like I do!” And he wasn’t kidding, either!  Boy, does he know debt!  Just consider how many of his incredible ventures have gone belly up!  (A lot!) Consider the masterful way in which he put multiple casinos completely out of business in almost no time at all!  Casinos, you know, the gambling operations where the house always wins? Not in his world!  This is truly something to behold!  He may have been a Democrat in the past but he certainly generates debt like a Republican! Yes, the Felon does know a thing or two about debt, no one could argue that.  Of course, you know who knows even more about debt, especially the Felon’s debt?  (Should I leave this as a rhetorical question?  What do you think?  Nah…)  You know the answer, of course!  It’s his bankers! Yes, his bankers! Boy, do they know a lot about his debt! I’ll bet they could tell you stories….

Let’s look a little more deeply at the magic of his business management skills for they are wondrous, indeed!  Even a perfunctory search on AI brings up this remarkable record! (Which, by the way, any American voter could have looked upor searched on, before considering voting for this moron but I guess that may have been too much for many voters):

Failed Business Ventures & Brands:

  • Trump University (2005–2011): Closed following lawsuits and allegations of fraud, ultimately settling for $25 million in fines.
  • Trump Shuttle (1989–1992): An airline that failed to turn a profit and was taken over by creditors.  Let’s say this one “failed to take off?”
  • Trump Vodka (2006–2011): Brought to you by a complete teetotaler, discontinued due to low sales. Why anyone would want to buy a vodka named after a non-drinker remains a mystery to this day
  • Trump Steaks (2007): Discontinued shortly after launch due to “lack of interest”. This one died in its’ very first year!
  • GoTrump.com (2006–2007): A travel website that shut down.  Yes, please, “go Trump, please!
  • Trump Mortgage (2006–2007): Closed after just 18 months.
  • Trump Magazine (2007–2009): Magazine ceased publication.  I can only imagine the journalistic magic we’ve been denied?
  • The New Jersey Generals (1980s): A USFL football team that folded.  After he tried to screw the other owners in that league by agreeing to shut the league down if he could buy an NFL team which the other NFL owners denied!  Nice.
  • Trump Tower Tampa (2000s): A real estate project that failed.  Actually, one of many real estate projects that did not live up to the hype.  (Isn’t real estate supposed to be his bailiwick?)
  • Tour de Trump (1989–1990): A cycling race that he stopped sponsoring.

Now, let’s look at some of the more Significant Bankruptcies (Atlantic City & Others)

This Michealangelo of Management filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy six times, largely related to debt (there’s that word again!) from his gaming operations:

  • Trump Taj Mahal (1991): Casinos could not cover debt.
  • Trump Plaza (1992): Casino filed for bankruptcy.
  • Trump Castle (1992): Casino filed for bankruptcy.
  • THCR (Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts) (2004): Company filed for bankruptcy.
  • Trump Entertainment Resorts (2009): Company filed for bankruptcy.
  • Trump Entertainment Resorts (2014): Final bankruptcy of the company.

I seem to recall a clip of the man explaining to the press that “no one could imagine so many people trying to get to the slot machines at once!” (I’m paraphrasing here…) Yes, it failed because he was “too successful”; no one could see that coming.  That aside, here is a slightly more objective analysis of his business record again, according to a quick AI search:

Contextual Analysis of the Failures:

  • Debt and Management: Analysts and reports found that Trump’s casinos were “doomed from the start” (Hmmmm, doesn’t sound like an auspicious beginning to me) because he loaded them with high-interest junk bonds to finance their construction.  (Why anyone would intentionally load up their business with such questionable financial vehicles remains another mystery.  Could he not secure lower-interest loans anywhere else?)
  • “Pillaging” (Same way he runs the federal government!Mismanagement: Investors and former regulators accused Trump of “pillage[ing] the company” by taking high salaries, bonuses, and using casino funds to pay for his personal helicopter, all while the companies fell into bankruptcy and left contractors unpaid.  🤯
  • Direct Competition: (My absolute favorite!) Trump’s casinos (Taj Mahal, Plaza, Castle) were in direct competition with each other, leading to cannibalization of revenue, where one casino’s success came at the expense of another. A mistake I wouldn’t expect from a newly graduated, business major.

Other cited flops include various NYC rental properties and partnership investments in the 1990s.

So, why am I bringing this up now?  In hopes that more voters will expend just a modicum more effort looking into the backgrounds and claims of future candidates of any office; senators, congressional candidates, and needless to say, the presidency.  We could have all been spared the chaos, confusion, corruption, and the global embarrassment had more of the voting base just gotten of their asses to check this idiot out.  They would have seen that this clown is a loser; always has been, always will be.  He couldn’t hide it from anyone endeavoring to look behind the (makeup-encrusted) mask.

Oh, well.  Maybe next time.
