In fact, the original East Wing should be rebuilt at his own, personal, expense. Not a single dime from the federal government; he can use some of the treasury funds he’s stolen to rebuild the People’s House!

Next is the vulgar building with which he wants to replace the East Wing. His gawdy, classless, and highly illegal, “ballroom”. First it was being paid for by “me and some of my friends”, not a dime coming from the taxpayers. Of course, that was then, this is now and the initial BS-story has changed completely! Now it’s all coming from the taxpayer and nothing from his billionaire miscreants, and the Guardians Of Pedophiles in Congress! You know, the guys that literally piss themselves at the very thought of a primary! Presto, magic! The funding went from being all private to all public just like that and at three times the cost at that!

Oh, MAGA, as stupid as you are, what were you thinking when you signed up with a crooked billionaire to stand as a voice of the people? Could you be any lazier (probably not) than to not even try to look into this imbecile’s past? It’s not hard; it’s all out there, all you have do is read. (Well, maybe it is harder than I thought for some of you.)

My one, happy, thought on all this is that it is you that is suffering and will continue to suffer along with all the black, brown, and lower income targets of this malcontent’s actions and policies. You’re getting it right where you deserve it; right in the keister (See: Grey’s Anatomy for specific location). And, I am truly sorry to say, our farmers also; I have not an ounce of sympathy for even one of them. They saw an “R” next to his name and that was all they needed. Forget about the fact that almost every program that farmers benefit from has been conceived, fought for, and implemented by the Dems! But somehow, someway, you found a way to rationalize a vote for this demented sociopath and now you’re living with the consequences. I couldn’t care less. You can take all the George Conways, Margaret Taylor Greenes, and all the other so-called awakened, regretful, wretches that finally saw the light and are coming around and you can keep them. I wouldn’t give you a bag of un-composted manure for any or all of them. They didn’t see who he was? They didn’t know anything at all about his past; his fraud-filled, BS-laden bio he sold them? Many of these people are intelligent, college-educated individuals that should know better but we’re supposed to believe that they made an error in judgement? Sorry, I’m not buying it.

So, while you squirm to find ways to stay afloat, pay your farm and bank loans back, or bring a profitless product to market at your own personal loss, or just put food on your table, you might just want to think! And while I realize that that may be a challenging order for some of you, there are indeed some that are truly remorseful. And they are going to need to prove it by acting it; getting involved in his removal from office and prosecution to the full extent of the law as he would to anyone that would offend him in even the least of ways. Anything less is unacceptable.

The Roberts “Court” has done more damage to our democracy than Trump & Project 2025 could ever imagine!

Take a look at these miscreant dirtbags. This is the most corrupt “court” in the history of the United States of America. Yes, they’re supposed to be judges but they are not; they are nothing more than well-placed political operatives very specifically placed in their roles – after lying in their confirmation hearings about various laws, the status of Roe v Wadeas settled law not the least among them – to do exactly what they are doing: reversing every remaining law that grants some semblance of equality to Americans of color. And this time, with the gutting of the Voting Rights Act – or, should I say, with the gutting of the remainder of the Voting Rights Act – they’ve truly exposed themselves as the partisan, political hacks that they really are. Just like the damage they did to our campaign finance laws with Citizens v United, we now have every red state prioritizing the redistricting of all persons of color right out of their congressional districts and right in the middle of a campaign season! Roberts and his band of dirtbags shove their thumbs, plural, on the scales of justice once again, granting the most egregious criminal administration in our history a paved-over path to further chaos and criminality, all while these scumbags sit and make believe they aren’t responsible for any of the damage or consequence that ensues.

If WE, the American people, truly wish to preserve our democracy, our freedom, our very lives, then our highest priority must be to get these imposters off the court. Whether it is by impeachment, indictment, or by sheer force of public pressure on them as well as our “representatives” in Congress, they must be removed from the court at any cost. Roberts recently made some comical comments to the effect that they are not a political body, which is to say, that is exactly what this “court” is; (I cannot even write it without quotes, just to reinforce what a joke their so-called jurisprudence will be considered in history. It will be nothing more than the farcical charade we know it to be! We will make certain of it!) They are nothing more than a cabal of legal automatons programmed and placed upon the court by stealth and slight-of-hand responses to confirmation questions given them by other anti-democratic dirtbags like Leonard Leo and the Federalist Society and the like. This “court” is nothing more than a group of partisan political hacks disguised as upstanding, responsible advocates of law and order. In fact, they are quite something other than that; in fact, they are the exact opposite of law & order advocates.

Even the token Oreo on the “court”, Clarence the Corrupt Clown; the deceitful, double-dealing, friend of billionaires, grab-the-money-and-run doesn’t seem to mind that he set all other black and brown Americans back 100 years to the post-Civil War Reconstruction period where Jim Crow reigned supreme. In an era where even the “president” (i.e., the current delinquent wretch turning the Oval Office into a whore house) openly and frequently makes his loathing of minorities as obvious as his revulsion of women, this “court” will decide that there really isn’t any racism in America anymore, it’s all been eradicated, just a figment of our collective imaginations. Without a care in the world the Guardians Of Pedophiles & the convicted felon at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue have stripped our people of their healthcare rights, subsidies for poor women and children for healthcare, SNAP meals, and much more, all while flexing their imaginary Christianity and their supposed moral superiority.

Gutting the Voting Rights Act as if there are no implications to our elections and democracy is as crooked and corrupt a decision as the way in which they destroyed fairness in our campaign finance laws by allowing dark money, foreignmoney even, PACS, etc., into the election system as if they weren’t aware of the destruction it would do to open and fair elections. I remember Sam the Sham Alito, another dirtbag on the take, remonstrating President Obama at the State of the Union speech when Obama commented about the damage the ruling would do to our campaign finance laws and elections. Except that Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, and Cavanaugh and the other scumbags aren’t making judicialdecisions, they are making political decisions they have been directed to make or were already known to have been in favor of by a cabal of conservative political power brokers that put them in power for exactly these reasons: to alter our political campaigns and elections in favor of their conservative criminal candidates. We, the American people, that have been saddled with the detritus of these imposters and the incredible damage they have done to our political processes and democracy, have no greater task ahead of us then to get these cretins off the court by any means necessary and, preferably, disbarred for their egregious violations of truth and justice.

If, and I do mean IF, the Democrats manage not to screw up the mid-terms, which granted, is a lot to ask when it is as a direct result of their incredible ineptitude and incompetence that we now have the 34-time convicted, adjudicated sexual predator and felon presently reporting directly to Vladimir Putin and Bebe Netanyahu for further instructions on how to destroy our country, we may just have a shot at saving this republic. If not, and the most stultifyingly stupid among us – AKA MAGA MORONS – and the phony Christian evangelicals and fundamentalists prevail, then it may just be time for this dream to end. It is entirely in the hands of the people. We will either act with the alacrity these times call for and rise to the challenge this “court” poses to our freedoms and civil liberties, or we will let democracy die.

It is that simple. No one is coming to rescue us; it is up to every individual American to act.

So, again, for the umpteenth time in history, and in the face of yet another war in the middle east, and one which needn’t have been started by the pedophile protector in the oval office, we have to listen to the religious imbeciles spouting more nonsense about the return of Jesus, a Jew that was executed 2,000 years ago. John Hagee, Ken Copeland, and many of the masters of the religious con game, are back to predicting that this war is the war, the one for which they’ve been literally praying for the last 2,000 years. Yes, this con has been going on for that long; 2,000 years and counting and there are still those that swallow this crap up like it is the sweetest of nectar.

But what is more disturbing to me is that there are members of the military, the United States military, that are now openly asserting that this is the war that begins the so-called Apocalypse described in Revelation. Now normally I would not care if any member of the military believed this nonsense; that is their own business. However, for any member of the military to declare to their subordinates, or to frame a war to be yet another in a long line a failed predictions of the return of a dead Jew from Palestine is beyond the pale. Any such officer should be relieved of his command immediately and drummed out of the military forever. There is simply no room in the decision-making mechanisms or strategy developments of any military at war for such childish drivel. To target and kill others, the exact opposite of the teachings of their supposed and imaginary savior, in the name of the return of an imaginary god, is one of the most immoral and misdirected actions I can imagine.

Jesus is dead. He was executed by crucifixion by the Romans for sedition 2,000 years ago. He was not buried; he languished on the cross until his bones literally fell off the cross. Needless to say, he did not “resurrect” or return to life as the story was manufactured by his followers. He died and is no more, just like every person before and after him. Get over it and, more important, stop using it to slaughter other people in some demented religious claims that have been made since the day Jesus died, all to no avail.

When this wars ends, if it ends, and there is no return of the dead Jesus, then Hagee, Copeland, and all their like, should be prosecuted and imprisoned with their Orange Jesus in the White House and his band of robber-thieves.

Greg Locke is Still Lying Like a Christian (And that’s a lot!)

I often lament that many, if not most, Christians know very little if anything of what it actually says in the Bible, especially their claims about what Jesus “says”. They know so little of the so-called “good book” it is almost laughable. Almost, I say, because of the seemingly infinite stream of hatred they spew into our culture against anyone, anything, that is not them; not white, not conservative, or Christian. They have no shortage of hatred bottled up inside them as they have always had; infinite, boundless, hatred for others to whom they can pin the blame on their own miserable lives. Take their incessant complaining about “Christian persecution”, a complete steaming pile of absolute nonsense created and cultivated by their Christian leaders and used as just another straw man to raise funds. After all, who throughout all of history persecuted more people, more savagely, more brutally, to the point of inventing the most horrifying methods of torture, murder, and execution and for well over a thousand years? Ans: No one; they hold that title all by their lonesome selves. Add to this their completely unsubstantiated claims that the Bible outlaws abortion (it doesn’t; there’s not a single word about abortion anywhere, Hebrew or Christian scripture) to its’ acceptance of slavery, to their gullibility about wealth & the wealthy, and the scum that preach the so-called “prosperity gospel” in direct contradiction of Jesus’s actual words and parables. Yes, for professional mythologists like Greg Locke, Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, among many, many others, it’s like taking candy from a baby, and don’t you know that it’s just the way “a-huh, a huh, they like it, a-huh, a-huh”? What could possibly be better than having people mail you checks for doing absolutely nothing in return?

But I’d like to focus on Greg Locke for a bit since I just watched his interview with Judy Woodruff where he released an absolute bevy of BS expressed with such conviction that one might think he actually believes it. Another so-called “man of god” whose vehement and passionate hatred of other, non-GOP, non-Christian, Americans is palpable.

Many of his comments were just off the charts cray-cray and can be refuted easily with just a modicum of energy expended, e.g., his claim that the Biden economy was “the worst economy in any of our lifetimes”. Why he would make such an inflammatory and false assertion is anyone’s guess, but since his whole world view is based upon mythology and superstition; when you live in that world and preach to the gullible simpletons that make up his congregation, you can make up just about anything and fully expect it to be received like manna from heaven.

He went on to screech that anyone wearing a mask during Covid would be asked to leave his “church” (Church, that’s the place where all the fleecing takes place…). Golly, Greg, did the invisible man protect all your sheeples or did any of them get Covid or, heaven forbid, actually die from it? I’m just asking here because, according to a simple search one would learn that:

In the maelstrom of misinformation from the Fat Felon, while Putin’s Pal was busy in the Oval office lying about the circumstances of the plague; the source, the lethality, the mortality rates, and, most important, the steps and modalities the various medical communities were desperately trying to get through the bullshit barrier that is conservative media, people were dying. In fact, ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-EIGHT Americans died from this supposed “hoax”, as described by the Felon/Sexual Predator and echoed by many of his immoral minions in the evangelical and fundamentalist circles around the country. Why anyone would lie about such an important issue upon which hung the lives of millions of Americans is anyone’s guess but, as we would come to learn, the Fat Felon and his coterie of bullshit artists that is his administration lies about everything and anything with a certain verve and panache usually reserved for the performing arts.

For all of Locke’s hair-on-fire ranting and raving about Joe Biden, a church-attending Roman Catholic that, unlike the Fat Felon, can actually quote scripture, he certainly doesn’t seem to have any issues with the thirty-four-time convicted felon, adjudicated sexual predator, protector of pedophiles, demonstrated racist, national disgrace, and global embarrassmentcurrently stinking up the oval office. This miscreant is the guy that Locke and others of his ilk chose to give a free pass, asserting that their invisible man in the sky sent him to “save” America, and isn’t he just doing a bang-up job! The miscreant that has been fleecing people, contractors, renters, banks, even his own siblings whom he tried to screw out of their inheritance, and now the taxpayers of America for nothing but self-enrichment is the one person in the country that magical Jesus would choose to “save” America!

No real “man of god” would ever make such an absurd claim and how his mindless minions swallow this manure is anyone’s guess but like the Felon, Locke has learned that you really can fool all of the people all of the time, at least his target audience whose capacity for swallowing bullshit seems infinite.

In hopes that more voters will expend just a modicum more effort looking into the backgrounds and claims of future candidates of any office; senators, congressional candidates, and needless to say, the presidency. We could have all been spared the chaos, confusion, corruption, and the global embarrassment had more of the voting base just gotten of their asses to check this idiot out. They would have seen that this clown is a loser; always has been, always will be. He couldn’t hide it from anyone endeavoring to look behind the (makeup-encrusted) mask.

Long Before Trump “Chickened-Out” the Democrats Showed Him How It’s Done!

It’s hard to overstate the position the Dumo’s had the Repugs in during this shutdown. Even the Fat Felon admitted that the shutdown was being blamed on the Repugs, it was pounding his favorability ratings into the ground (37%) and, even more impressive, the American people were cheering them on! Actually cheering for the Dumos seemingly granite-like resolve and their determination to see this fight out to the end! Can you imagine? Yeah, me neither.

However, to give them the benefit of the doubt, they really were chugging along there for a while. They really seemed to be determined to see this one out; to hold the Repug’s feet to the fire in order to get the ACA subsidies back so Americans can afford their healthcare. Except I could feel it coming; sense the tension that I know the Dumos just cannot handle and, finally, they didn’t; Democrats Always Chicken Out!

Well, this was the last line in the sand for me; I am finished supporting – both practically and financially – the Milquetoast Party! Schumer should step aside, in fact, he should resign, along with many other so-called “moderate” Dumos. Their spineless, hapless nature has been proved time and again and we just aren’t going to get anywhere with them at the helm. We need progressives, real progressives, that are willing to go beyond the pale to make things happen; good things, new laws and protections, new economic programs, for the American people.

My Delayed Response To The Election

It’s taken a bit of time for this one to sink in but I think I have a plan.

I am very fortunate to have the opportunity of spending some quiet time at my lake house in New England. Especially now, at this particular time of year, the lake is very quiet. Many of the homes on my road are inhabited seasonally or intermittently, so the lake is extremely quiet during the early winter months. I often joke with friends that it is as if I am the last person on Earth after the apocalypse, but in a good way! Not a boat, a jet ski, even a kayak, to be seen for weeks or months on end. As Martha would say, “It’s a good thing!”

I have basically turned off the news in all its ugly forms since the election, mostly as a way of coping with who-the-hell-knows what we’ll be dealing with in the next 6 weeks or so. I can’t even stomach the odious idea of Joe & Mika – I hope they get everything they deserve for their obsequiousness bullshit they paid to “Dear Leader” – or anyone else on MSNBC for that matter, or CNN, or any of the other so-called, “news” shows. I am resolved to finding new sources of “legitimate” news, if that be a thing, mostly meaning journalism delivered with an objective of shining the necessary light on the government and its’ corporate cronies and holding them accountable for their actions and misdeeds. If the Trump years have shown us anything, it is the extent to which our elected – and unelected – officials will go to enrich themselves or avail themselves of the most depraved excesses, and mostly at the expense of the taxpayer.

This brings me to the Democrats. I have supported the “Dumos”, as I prefer to think of them, for too many years now, spiritually and financially, but mostly because there is no alternative if you are in any way liberal or progressive. We are stuck with the worst of the worst. From Nancy Pelosi suggesting that enriching herself and her family through insider stock trading information that only the members of Congress possess as the perks of “a free country” (she should sell that bullshit to Martha, in fact), to Chuck the Schmuck Schumer’s incestuous ties to Wall St, I have finally just had enough. I can no longer in good conscience continue to support a party which, in my opinion, is only slightly less corrupt than the other party, and infinitely dummer!

Putting aside the myriad disasters they’ve left in their wake; botched elections, congressional agendas, political positions (after all, they talked more about the rights of transgender people – a whole, entire, 1.14% of the national population*) than they did about the rights and plight of the middle class, a miscalculation that cost them dearly across an entire host of demographic categories. Looking at the presidential elections where Rupugnanticans won, it is always over a ridiculous social issue that the Dumos just wouldn’t let go of.

And now, this botched election – and the monumental way in which they botched it – demonstrated a level of incompetency and delusion that I, personally, can no longer abide. What they now left for us to have to deal with somehow, someway, is anyone’s guess. But, in the meantime, Kamala Harris and the Democrats squandered over a billion and a half dollars in little over three months; a burn-rate record that could last some considerable time. With Trump in office, it could be weeks!

So, what shall I, personally do? My response is to withdraw all support I once provided them; this inept, incompetent, group of mindless milquetoasts and spineless morons that I put so much of my ‘faith’ in and for so very little and put my efforts and resources into finding/creating a new liberal/progressive party that can achieve the admirable objectives of a fairer and more prosperous country for everyone. Objectives that are in fact, very achievable given a party of competent, and judicious minded patriots. Stating it simply for now, at least, If you don’t have an “I” next to your name on the ballot, don’t call, text, or write.

Trump & The Christian Nationalists

Jesus once said: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” ~ Matthew 22:37-40

Is there anything that calls out Fundamentalist and Evangelical Christians for their phony piety and maligned morality than their support for Donald Trump? Do they really believe that god – any god, pick one – would have anything to do with the four-time-indicted, 34-time-convicted felon, adjudicated sexual predator and the most mendacious individual to ever occupy the Oval Office of the United States? If you’d like to see an example of the piety crowd at their most delusional, then look no further than their slavish devotion to Trump and their obvious excitement at the prospects of him occupying the office again. If they have achieved anything with this misplaced support it is to further reinforce the impression that their religion and their motivations are nothing more than a politically-motivated pretense to move the country further towards their goal of a Christian nation.

The demonic forces they claim lay behind the campaigns of Joe Biden, now out of the race since handing the baton to VP Kamala Harris, can only be defeated by, of all people, Donald Trump! Yes, according to these purveyors of religious delirium only Donald Trump can save our country from the depravity and debauchery into which it has been led by the “godless” Democratic party! Christian political activists are putting millions of dollars on the very man convicted of 34 felony crimes (and counting), multi-million-dollar business tax fraud in New York State, and an adjudicated sexual assault predator! This is the man that the phony piety crowd is putting their money on to save the country and bring us back to the god-fearing nation we once were, even though we have never been a Christian nation in any real respect. The very same man that can no longer participate in a charity in the state of New York due to his fraudulent mishandling of funds AND who sold phony university degrees to armed services veterans not worth the paper upon which they were written has been sent by god to save the United States. Yeah. And I’m the Easter Bunny.

Only the most seriously deluded and cognitively dissonant can rationalize such nonsense and, as it happens, that’s the very target audience many Christian organizations have focused their efforts. Those that believe in the invisible man in the sky, a 6,000-year-old planet Earth, (an Earth where dinosaurs and humans cohabitated) humans that literally “popped” into existence in our current, “unevolved” state, a worldwide flood that wiped-out humanity save a single family, talking serpents and asses, (although as “talking asses” go I believe Trump has proven this conclusively) and dead people rising from their graves and parading around city! The most adroit snake-oil salesmen in the country are focused on convincing their delirious sheeples of the truthfulness of their claims, even while their candidate demonstrates the very opposite of virtually everything and anything that Jesus ever said and taught. (See Matthew quote above; remind you of Donald Trump? I didn’t think so, me either!)

We now know about the vast and various Christian power bases behind this most despicable candidate and the dystopic society they would have us living in given their ability to do so. Consider the so-called Ziklag organization, a Christian organization supported by wealthy Christians such as the owners of Hobby Lobby and described by investigative journalists ProPublica as: “A network of ultrawealthy Christian donors is spending nearly $12 million to mobilize Republican-leaning voters and purge more than a million people from the rolls in key swing states, aiming to tilt the 2024 election in favor of former President Donald Trump.” Christians collaborating to steal the election as I assume they would have us believe Jesus would as well.

Another Christian organization dedicated to the election of Trump is the Alliance Defending Freedom, an Arizona-based Christian conservative legal nonprofit. According to the Washington Post: “The organization has had nine successful cases before the court in the past seven years, including Burwell v. Hobby Lobby, which allowed corporations to opt out of covering contraceptives based on religious beliefs. And it was ADF that created model legislation for “bathroom bills,” which bar students from using restrooms that don’t correlate to their sex at birth.”

There are many, many more. Christian organizations across the country are working diligently to re-craft our society into the white-washed and white-dominated country they contend their imaginary savior endorses and represents a real and present danger to the democratic life that our relatives and ancestors fought and died for, and of which the rest of the world looks upon with envy. These groups are not community volunteers nor are they motivated by altruism. These are people of power for whom money and power are virtually everything and they want control, complete and boundless; of the government and the rules of our society, and they see Donald Trump as the vehicle to their ends.

As it has become painfully obvious, the self-designated “Freedom Party” and “Freedom Caucus” in Congress, AKA the GOP, which includes the likes of such political standouts as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert, has been the party that takes your freedoms from you while telling you it is in your best interests and those of society at large. Yes, it is in our collective best interests not to be able to decide what we or our children can read which is why the repugnant red states are purging our libraries of such radical tomes as “Animal Farm” and “Anne Frank’s Diary”. We simply cannot be responsible to choose reading material on our own, it must be done for us and by those that claim to know better and, therefore, will make these decisions for us. Similarly, women cannot be trusted to make their own decisions about their health, particularly their maternal health. We need the government to intercede on behalf of woman, even as some women cling to their very lives for lack of medical care while the government dawdles in the courts. Hopefully, they’ll still be alive when the government finally arrives at its’ decision about their healthcare. The party that has been extolling the virtues of getting government off our proverbial backs would now like for the government to, not just share in the most intimate decisions of our lives but will actually have the last word over these matters.

And these kinds of behaviors go on and on and into all areas of life. Consider the solutions to “voter fraud” legislated by red states that always seem to include making it more difficult to vote and overwhelmingly in areas of black or brown people. Texas has closed over 700 polling places since 2022 exclusively in areas where minorities vote while positioning the changes as solving some colossal threat to democracy from non-whites and/or “illegal aliens”, undocumented workers that already have no lawful right to vote.

There is much more to reveal about this, we haven’t even begun to discuss the introduction of the Bible into our public schools complete with morning prayer and Creationism being taught as a legitimate alternative to evolution, as if there is any legitimacy at all to the Judeo-Christian mythology that warrants such special status over both the Constitution as well as other religions. They don’t seem to have any anticipation of the obvious battle over which of the 12,000 variations of Christianity in the U.S. will be the universally accepted version. We’ll wait with bated breath, I am sure.

When Kamala Harris wins the presidency and, with a lot of effort and hard work, the Democrats take the House and retain the Senate, they will need to pass new legislation aimed at securing the secular nature of the government complete with a new and vigorous reinforcing of the Johnson Amendment. The Johnson Amendment is a provision in the U.S. Tax Code that prohibits all 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations from endorsing or opposing political candidates. Section 501(c)(3) organizations are the most common type of nonprofit organization in the United States, ranging from charitable foundations to universities and churches. The amendment is named for then-Senator Lyndon B. Johnson of Texas, (of all places!) who introduced it in a preliminary draft of the law in July 1954. With a new emphasis placed on the Johnson Amendment and a reform of the Supreme Court including term limits and an ethics code with teeth, we can make tremendous progress towards a more compassionate and representative government for all Americans regardless of race, sexual identity, or any other discriminating factor.

We have less than 97 days; let’s stay focused and vigilant. Kamala Karma is Koming!
